New to Washington, DC ?
When I first moved to Washington, DC, I left a great group of cycling friends who I rode with on a consistent basis. I arrived at DC with a job and my bicycle. The problem? I had no one to ride with. As much of my time was devoted to working, the first few months were spent riding alone. I knew if I did not find some people to ride with, and find them quickly, my cycling career would be, as Arnold says, terminated. After all ... What is the use of having a bicycle if you have no one to ride with?
Thankfully, once the winter months faded, I found not one, not two, but NUMEROUS groups to ride with. The cycling community here is incredibly vast with riders of all ages, abilities, genders and sizes. If only I knew where to go before then...
